In red above is the current ODF quarantine area for EAB in the Willamette Valley. We’ve had reports from colleagues north of Eugene that adults are all over their vehicles on jobsites, and that barely anyone in these communities are complying with quarantine recommendations. It is widely assumed by state officials that this will be the most devastating pest Oregon has ever seen. This outlook is bleak, but it is quite real.
